Do I have to change anything for using HCoating in our coating machine?
HCoating is applicable in the existing lens coating machines, and also miscible and co-curable with most UV hard coatings. No change is required, such as replacing filter or flushing system. Just mixing HCoating with old coatings by running the coating machine for several minutes, you can start coating on lenses. Also you can pour back old coatings in coater without other changes.

Why do I get streaks on Lens after mixing HCoating with existing coating?
Coatings in a coater have thickened over time and running the machine will help incorporate the new coating. Streak appearance indicates that HCoating and the old coating have not been well mixed yet. Keep running the machine until no streak on a lens.

Why do I get milky film after mixing HCoating with existing coating?
Milky film indicates the parameter difference between the two coatings. Generally speaking, using more than 50 % of HCoating in a mix should avoid any incompatibility with other solvent free hard coatings.

How do I use HCoating in Gerber Coburn solvent free coater?
To maintain the machine continually running, you must keep HCoating full in the coating bowl before the coating level gets low to trigger the machine to shut down.

Do you have a cleaning method for HCoating?
To remove uncured HCoating from a lens, pick up a piece of tissue paper, soak it up with pure IPA (isopropyl alcohol), and then use the wet paper to wipe the coating off the lens. This process may be repeated until the lens is free of coatings.
